He proposed!!!

Five months ago I met the most amazing guy in the world. Little did I know five months later I would be the happiest person in the world. So everyone wants to know how he did it? When we first started dating we would go on a lot of walks, and particularly up to the Elk farm in Ephraim. Well thats where it all began. Our first kiss happend up there and that spot is just so special to both of us. So After Christmas break we both just decided that we love being with eachother so much we wanted to take our relationship to the next level, and started to talk about possibly getting married. We went to my house the first weekend in January and he asked my dad, and that monday we went ring shopping. About two weeks later after waiting he asked me to go on a walk. Like usual we went up to our spot and the sun was setting, beautiful orange and red and we headed up the road. Well the little road that we usually go was so muddy and he seemed to disappointed and I was like, its ok we can go around so we started walking around and found a dry area and walked up to this rock ledge. We climbed up onto it and stood and looked at the temple while the sun was setting. He turned me towards him and said " I have a question to ask you", and then said " are you cold?" and I just laughed and said, um a little, and then he looked and me and said "thats not the question I want to ask you" and then got down on one knee and told me how much he loved me and wants to spend eternity with me and how happy I make him, and then he asked " will you marry me?" and without hesitation I said "YES." We stood there looking at our temple while the sun was setting and well...I dont think it could have been better. So my life is wonderful, our special day is going to be May 6th of 2011, I cant wait to be sealed to him for time and all eternity.

So it is now year 2011. This year I decided to go to two different parties instead of last year when I only went to the U institute party. I first went to my aunt Ronda's house where we played pool and talked to family. I played two games of pool, and got lucky two times, because I won both haha, both were against my dad and my brother. As soon as I was finished I left to go get ready for Nikki's family party. I was really excited to go see everyone. When I got there we went downstairs and played the new x-box dancing game, so cool, it sees you and you have to mirror what the caracter is doing. Even though it made me feel like a dork, it was so much fun, and I wish that I had the game to bring with me back to my apartment. When it was time to go outside to count down, everyone got ready and watched the fireworks go off. I didn't have Nick there to kiss but I texted him. The year 2010 was a rough year, starting with my dad losing his job and Railey dying, and school was just really hard and summer was really not all that fun, but it ended really well, I met Nick and my dad got his job back, and I got to see Nick over Christmas break and things are just going so well. I am so glad that it is finally over though. Hopefully this new year will bring some good surprises and some excitement. Everyone needs to make up some kind of New years resolution or goal so this year I am making the original goal, and that is to lose some weight, i'm planning on going to the gym more often this year and just working out. I also think that making it a goal to not eat any candy or chocolate for at least half the year would be a good one, but I guess we will see what happens.
